RadioShack Malaysia is a leading American retailer of innovative mobile and technology products, services and accessories with more than 4,000 stores in the US.

It brings to Malaysian consumers a targeted assortment of products centred on audio (e.g. speakers, headphones, audio/video cables), power (e.g. batteries and power banks), mobility and wireless, data storage, home entertainment and music, as well as tools and parts for electronics DIY and hobbies.

In Malaysia the franchise is owned and managed by Berjaya RadioShack Sdn. Bhd., part of the Berjaya Retail group.

It caters to various price and lifestyle needs by offering a wide selection of international brands within each product range as well as its proprietary brands such as RadioShack, Auvio, PointMobl and Gigaware.

A total of thirteen stores have been opened since its launch in September 2012: single-stop-shops in Mid Valley Megamall, Berjaya Times Square, Hartamas Shopping Centre, Bangsar Shopping Centre, Pavilion, Avenue K, Sunway Pyramid, Gurney Plaza and four other store-in-stores in Borders in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Putrajaya and Penang.

A visit around the store reveals that it is fresh and vibrant in the new signature orange and white fittings, and has an inviting layout.

Keenly aware that music is the key driver of fun amongst its customers, RadioShack carries a wide range of audio-related products comprising premium brands and its own private labels.

To ensure the sound experience is fully enjoyed and the customer is fully satisfied, the store features a Speaker Wall displaying a selection of speakers, which is not only immediately attention-grabbing but also allows customers to listen to the sound quality of each one by making their selection from an iPad.

The Headphone Station, is where headphones are openly displayed for the customer to test; each headphone stand is displayed with its own mirror for customers to check out how they look wearing them, important for the selfie era of today.

Youth and the young at heart are important at RadioShack. We carry a selection of quirky toys and these are displayed in the Toy Showcase; customers may ask for a demo before they decide to buy.

Other exciting offerings include accessories, power solutions and do-it-yourself kits and parts.
